Eco Council Earth Week Celebrations - April 20 - 24

Follow us on Instagram! sdhs.eco

Eco Council is excited to host Earth Week at Sutton! Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging and environmentally focused activities.

Hands-on initiatives include creating seed bombs and birdhouses to support local native wildlife. Students can also take part in climate-conscious actions such as waste-free lunches and “Wear a Sweater Day” to promote energy conservation.

As part of the celebration, students are invited to purchase tickets at the Student Council booth for a special in-school screening on April 23 of Rio (2011), an animated adventure that highlights themes of wildlife conservation, habitat protection, and the importance of biodiversity.

In addition, students can support our Mental Health Initiatives by purchasing snacks at the movie event and entering a raffle for two exciting LEGO prize packs. All proceeds will go toward supporting our annual Sutton Sabre Day.

We look forward to a fun and meaningful week of learning, action, and community involvement!
