Course Selection Information/Timelines
Feb 5 – Course selection presentation for grade 9-11 students will take place in the library.
Feb 12 – Course selection presentation for grade 12 students will take place in the library.
Feb 12 to Feb 20 – MyBluePrint opens to allow students to submit their courses for the 2026-27 school year.
Some important notices.
-All information shared with students during the presentations will be shared on the students’ guidance google classroom.
-There will also be videos showing how to complete course selection from start to finish.
-Students are able to select courses now, just not submit them.
-Students in grade 9-11 must select 8 courses plus 2 alternates.
-Students in grade 12 must select a minimum of 6 courses plus 2 alternates.
-A parent/guardian/caregiver’s email address is to be entered at the end of the process, just before submitting. This is to ensure that you are all aware of what your student is looking to take. Note that we cannot force students to do this. Once you receive the email, either approve or disapprove the selections. A disapproval will require a follow up with home, time permitting.
-Students are encouraged to speak with former teachers, as well as do some research regarding their best course of action in terms of required courses for potential post-secondary programs of interest.
-At the end of the day on Feb 20, all students will lose all access to their course selections.
This is a very short and busy but important time of the year for students to ensure they receive the best possible timetable next year.
Please help us making this year’s course selection the best for our students.

Our team is currently focusing on course selections and special education placements for the Fall 2026 academic year. Please keep the following in mind:
• GLE Selection: Note that special education placement is contingent upon the selection of the Learning Strategies (GLE) course.
• Documentation: Please watch for Continuation Letters or Letters of Invitation to confirm placements for the upcoming school year.
If you have any questions, please contact your student’s assigned SERT directly. We look forward to a successful and collaborative semester ahead.
